Caught on Video (Week #9 Post)
I absolutely loved this article. The idea of capturing in real time the progress of students is great not only for student self-awareness but for teacher self-awareness as well. Also I think if you had files full of video progress of your students it would make doing report cards a lot easier than only having observation notes and annecdotal evidence. I really like the idea of teachers having more responsibility in assigning a grade to progress of a student because I think we have all exprienced where we recieve a grade that we dont think reflects our actual abilities. This will also allow the teachers to create video portfolios for better communication with parents.
