Projects I could use to have students better understand these products and their features...

Microsoft Word
  • Write an essay in Word that includes at least one media item and one source cited in a reference list. Next, email it to a partner who will edit it using the review tools and when finished will email it back.
Microsoft Excel
  • Hand out a survey to the other classes in your grade about preferences on anything. Have the students then collect the data and enter it into a table on excel and use it to produce a chart or graph of their choice with labels and a key.
Microsoft PowerPoint
  • Have the students give a presentation to the class on the life of a famous person using PowerPoint to create the timeline of their life. The students must have at least one transition, one animation, and one sound clip as well as a link to an external source.
